After a hard day's work, the Chicago locals clock out and create some of their happiest memories during their beloved happy hour. What better way to enjoy waiting out the traffic than sipping a well-earned cocktail and sharing some laughs with friends?
To capture the mood of those moments, I took the reference photo for this colorful impressionistic-inspired oil painting while doing just that on a rooftop downtown; creating my own fond memories with some special ladies.
